「人类心灵」是一个跨学科、以艺术为名汇聚彼此的艺术项目。六年前，这个项目的创始人Anne-Laure Maison和Michel Cam在亚洲构思了一个原创想法: 基于拼贴画形式创作肖像，随后以环境为参考尺度实施装置作品。他们乘船航行，船只就是他们的工作室，他们进入偏远地区，与散居于社会边缘的部落建立起联系。“艺术跨越了语言和文化的障碍，建立起人类之间深厚的情谊。”一路上，他们认识了婆罗洲的Badjiaos巴乔人和菲律宾的Tagbanuas人。这样的邂逅触发了一项以连结感为核心由众人参与的集体创作。

2018 Badjao 巴乔

Michel和Anne-Laure都毕业于图卢兹高等艺术学院。Anne-Laure从该学院获得室内设计师学位后，决定全身心地投入到艺术实践中去。Michel的生活则更为神奇，热爱大海的他于2004年搭乘自己的航船从故乡布雷斯特出发，开始了一段近20年的旅程，以其独特角度观察世界，体验生活。

经过了多年的艺术实践活动之后，他们最终选择了回到Michel的故乡布雷斯特扎根，在他成长的地方建立起一个艺术机构La Piscine，如今这里已成为布列塔尼地区提供艺术活动和社交聚会的地标性场所。

2019 L’œil cosmique 宇宙之眼

Human Soul is a multidisciplinary artistic project that invites people to think of art as a tool for bringing us together. Six years ago, in Asia, Anne-Laure Maison and Michel Cam conceived an original approach based on the creation of portraits in the form of collages and their subsequent installation at the landscape scale. They sailed on their boat, which doubled as a workshop, into remote regions, curious to forge relationships with tribes living on the fringes of society. Creating art has enabled them to overcome language and cultural barriers and to make deep connections with the Badjaos in Borneo and the Tagbanuas in the Philippines. At the heart of these encounters is an artistic, participatory and collective work centered on touching stories between humanity and its environment.

Back to four years ago, due to the pandemic, they decided to set down roots back in Paris. Since then, lots of interesting projects happened. At the Fondation de l'Armée du Salut’s Cité de Refuge, they were able to see how people are marginalized in urban spaces. As part of their approach, they became involved in the lives of the residents, collecting personal information to create their portraits. These pieces were subsequently displayed in various forms: immersive installations, projections, XXL street art campaigns, etc. They were then selected by Fondation Photo4food to take up a residency in Deauville for the Planches Contact photography festival. They worked, amongst other places, on the site of the Olympic swimming pool and on the seafront, and produced portraits of local inhabitants associated with these locations.

2019 Le radeau 木筏

Michel and Anne-Laure both graduated from Toulouse's School of Fine Arts. After obtaining a degree in Interior Design from the school, Anne-Laure dedicated to devote herself exclusively to her artistic practice. On the other hand, Michel's life was more adventurous; he loves the sea and embarked on a journey with his boat for almost 20 years since 2004, starting from his hometown of Brest, observing the world and experiencing life from a unique perspective.

Since 2016, their collaborative work has been guided by their encounters . Their Human Soul series shows the birth of a work of art, the encounters it provokes, the relationships it fosters and the discourse it encourages.

Drawing from these experiences, they decided to set down roots in Brest, where Michel grew up, and established La Piscine, a place for art and social gatherings. They are experimenting with art as a social bridge within a neighbourhood. Now this art space has become a landmark venue in Bretagne, which you can't miss.
